We celebrated World Food Day with another pop-up “Clip ‘n Go” Herb offering at our local food pantry.

Patch 736

For our 2017 growing season we had some extra special help from Darien's Girl Scout Troop 50736. As part of their Bronze Project they pitched adding a new school garden on some vacant property adjacent to Lace School's parking lot.

This small but mighty garden patch, all 11 garden patches, managed to yield over 300 pounds of vegetables during it's first season.

That's a whole lot of carrots and chard and tomatillos girls!
